Our lessons work best… beginning with 2nd grade students and up! Within this one-hour lesson, students will be able to add in their head as quickly and accurately as most high school students. We say this, because during our testing the effectiveness of our program, there were an unbelievable number of high school students still adding on their fingers. I was even asked by a school to teach Addition, plus all the other operations of beginning math to a full classroom of high school seniors so they would be able to pass the math test that would allow them to graduate.
Then we teach:
- Subtraction, one lesson, lasting less than 45 minutes,
- Multiplication, taught in less than half the time schools normally teach this lesson,
- Division, one or two lessons lasting one or two hours each,
- Fractions, one or more lessons lasting two to three hours each,
- Word Problems, the most feared of all beginning math… less than a two-hour lesson.
When you add all the above mentioned times together, you will find that most of these math lessons can be taught in a single day. I’m a substitute teacher and I have done what is stated above… thousands of times… With Zero failures!

We might add… again… no pun intended… middle school math teachers… truly enjoy our unique lesson plans when they have new students that need help with basic-math. This is because Murray´s Magic Math™ takes very little time… to renew all math skills the incoming students failed to learn in elementary school.

Pre-school and Kindergarten children may begin learning Murray´s Magic Math™ Addition and Multiplication by repeatedly visualizing or seeing the numbers over and over again for a long period of time. It has been proven many times over, that young minds are very capable of learning, it just takes patience on the part of the parents and teachers. Staying with the program is the key.
The learning schedules listed above have been repeated over two thousand times in public school classes… with zero failures.
