Murray´s Magic MathTM has an easy way to learn multiplication. Even before school starts, or when school first begins… have student(s) work with Flash Cards (available in teacher’s stores) or you can make your own with Index Cards.
Murray´s Magic MathTM recommends that learning a few multiplications over a long period of time is better than trying to learn everything at once in the shortest time possible. If it’s not possible to provide Flash Cards have students write the equations and answers on Index cards to help them memorize the problems and answers.
There are math games to help with multiplication but having to remember squirrels or acorns, etc. is not real and all the cartoons add extra material students have to remember.
